Fisk Lobby
New York City

The landmark Fisk building in the heart of Manhattan was built at the turn of the century. The lobby had undergone a couple of unsympathetic renovations over the years. The goal in the re-design was to restore the "old world look" by adding traditional details like pilasters, moldings, ceiling coffers and pendant lighting, meanwhile maintaining some of the current elements like marble walls and terrazzo floors.
