This project combines a classic stone and slate Georgian design with a strong “Green” strategy. Photovoltaic panels at the rear roof will generate 5 kilowatts of electricity annually. Other green materials include non-fiberglass insulation, recycled wallboard, low VOC materials, bamboo flooring and FSC certified lumber. The home and its landscape design fit comfortably onto the “challenging” site.
