Irene joined Granoff Architects in 2000 as a project architect and became a Principal in 2006. Her area of expertise is primarily with high-end residential architecture. A licensed architect in the State of New York, she is also a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture.

The caliber of Irene’s work continually raises the expectations and satisfaction level of not only her clients, but also her peers and colleagues. Her specialized knowledge and research of historical prototypes allows her a freedom of designing homes for modern living in context and with respect to their surroundings. She likes the quote of Daniel Liebeskind:  “To provide meaningful architecture is not to parody history, but to articulate it.”

A seasoned traveler, Irene enjoys increasing her first-hand architectural knowledge by visiting local and international destinations. She is fluent in Russian and lives in Pleasantville, New York with her husband and daughter.
