Matthew’s passion for design began in the art studio of a small high school in upstate New York. As an avid landscape and architectural photographer, Matthew cultivated a desire to influence the built environment and the way in which we experience the world around us.

This love for examining the spaces which we inhabit led him to purse a career in architecture. Matthew graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.Arch. degree and minor in Real Estate in the spring of 2016. While in attendance, Matt was an active member in a variety of school organizations that furthered his desire to delve into all facets of design from emerging technologies, to the history behind it all. Real estate seemed a natural avenue to further his education as he sought to understand the way in which the design process can inform and improve the business of creating built space.

Joining Granoff Architects in 2016, Matt brings a wealth of experience with a variety of 3D modeling techniques to the firm that allows projects to be designed through a whole host of innovative lenses. Prior to Granoff, he worked throughout college in his hometown of Utica, NY gaining experience in commercial and residential design.

In his spare time, Matt pursues a wide variety of endeavors from becoming a fitness coach in the world of Crossfit, furthering his love for photography and the arts, cheering on his many favorite sports teams, all while remaining dedicated to receiving his architectural license in the near future.
