This home's “butterfly” plan was in response to its long, narrow site. Its very visible location on a main thoroughfare combined with a large 12,000 square foot program, resulted in the architect’s “object like” design for the house. Drivers take notice of the interesting roofline, shingle style details and intricate fenestration. A distinctive feature is the circular stair tower at the south wing. Many terraces, porches and outdoor spaces complete the design.
