This 6,000 s.f. shingled home was designed for a developer who was finally ready to build his own house. The property, on a quiet lane near the Sound, had a steep downhill slope. The home has a dramatic roofline, with multiple gables and an octagonal tower. Fieldstone columns, with cast stone capitals, line the front entry porch. A grand rear terrace has a hot tub and waterfall that cascades to the lower pool level. Extensive landscape architecture complements the home. Inside, there are many custom details that include an elaborate coffered ceiling at the family room.
