Hitoshi Amano has spent over twenty years as project architect and design architect in the Greater New York City area. Prior to joining GA, Hitoshi worked at Rivkin/Weisman Architects and Fox & Fowle. During his time there, he accumulated extensive experience in commercial office buildings, corporate interiors, building renovations and rebranding, and high-end residential construction. Hitoshi enjoys collaborating with clients, builders and design professionals to envision and realize innovative solutions to architectural projects of all types and scales.
Hitoshi holds a Master of Architecture and B.A. degrees from Princeton University. He is a registered architect in the State of New York.
Born in Japan, he grew up in Queens, NY, and is fluent in Japanese. He currently resides in Ossining, NY with his wife, two young daughters and two cats. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, exploring the rich cultural and natural offerings of the Greater New York area.
